Every weekly visit covers: full chemistry testing (pH, free and combined chlorine, alkalinity, calcium, cyanuric, salt), brushing, vacuuming, skimmer and basket clean, pump basket check, filter pressure check and equipment room visual inspection. You receive a written report with readings, photos and any issues flagged.
On a well-maintained residential pool, a shock treatment every 4-6 weeks is enough. In summer (with high UV and heavy use) or after heavy rain, more frequent shocking is sensible. A truly green or algae-bloomed pool needs a green-to-clean restoration, not just a regular shock.
Green-to-clean is a full restoration for pools that have bloomed with algae or been neglected. It typically takes 3 to 5 days: day 1 is shock treatment and brushing, days 2-3 are vacuuming and filter deep-cleaning, day 4-5 is final balance and water clarity check. Cost depends on pool size and severity — we quote after inspection.
